Responsibilities

Report to: Director, Sales Operations and Data Services
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The.Net Programmer/DB Developer will have 2 specific areas of responsibility.
.Net Programmer – will participate in individual and team, large and small projects consisting of the creation of a wide variety of tools for efficiency in operation in parallel to other larger projects related to CRM and other operational tools for the benefit of our Call Center Management and Staff.
DB Developer – will assist with the support of the Data Services Team for call center support, as well as assisting the Call Center with any specific Campaign system requests and, for general database and systems management activity.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Interface with existing professional staff and customer to work on a wide variety of internal projects, for programming and DB activities
• Manage small development projects in their entirety, conducting high level and detailed design based on requirements, from concept to collection and documentation of user’s requirements, testing, end user acceptance, deployment and subsequent bug fixes and revision control
• Accept various responsibilities and demonstrate skills in all areas of Web and database technologies, such as application design and development, as well as provide testing, technical documentation, and production support.
• Provide training and technical assistance to staff as required based on your project involvement
• Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing, including logical and physical models, data integrity and referential integrity, database transaction, isolation levels and locking, database I/O, backup and restore, security
• Strength in database development, especially in MySQL stored routines (stored procedures, functions and triggers)
• Experience in performance tuning (SQL optimization, indexing optimization, storage engine optimization and schema optimization
• Load data to and extract data from various data sources
• Ensure integrity of data, periodic system audits, with extreme attention to detail
• Coordinate changes to the database, including the deletion of record, changes to the existing records, additions to the database and compliancy;
• Competence in trouble shooting and debugging (database locking, unexpected result sets and mismatched data in tables, slow queries and so on)
